How to Compete in the FIFA 21 Global Series
This season, EA will award $3 million USD in prizes across Qualifiers, Regional Playoffs, the eChampions League, and CONMEBOL eLibertadores. This is an increase of over $1 Million USD from what was awarded last season. In previous years, players competed for a shared prize pool at global events. With this year’s changes, we have revisited how prizes will be distributed. EA’s goal is to have a meaningful level of prizing in each Online Qualifier and Playoff aligned to the number of competitors they have historically seen in each region. The focus for the year is on the Regional Playoffs where there are now over $1,500,000 in total prizes compared to last season’s Playoffs with $500,000.
