Enhanced Career Modes
FC 25 introduces new features aimed at increasing authenticity and giving players greater control in both Manager and Player Career modes.
Live Start Points and Snapshots
These allow you to jump into ongoing seasons at specific gameweeks or pivotal moments, both in men’s and women’s football. You can take over teams in top leagues, with all real-world stats, transfers, and standings reflected.
Women’s Football
For the first time, manage teams in top women’s leagues like the Barclays Women’s Super League and the Women’s Champions League. Women’s Manager Career mode comes with all the features of the men’s mode, plus unique challenges.
FC IQ
This new system adds depth to tactical setups by analyzing real-world manager tactics and enabling more detailed squad customization. Tactical Presets and Player Roles bring more strategy to matchdays.
Avatar Customization
Enhanced options allow for more realistic player creation, including detailed facial features, tattoos, and accessories. Customize your avatar’s appearance, animations, and running styles.
Improved Scouting and Player Development
Scouting now includes options to search for players who fit specific tactical roles. Development Plans 2.0 focus on role-specific growth, helping players develop key attributes and roles more effectively.
Press Conferences & Morale System
A new morale system introduces a “sweet spot” for player happiness, impacting their performance. Press conferences now reflect tactical decisions and match stats more accurately.
Youth Academy Enhancements
Expanded to over 160 countries, the Youth Academy now allows scouting for specific positions and roles. Engage in Rush matches to accelerate the development of youth players and track their physical growth.
Customization Options
A variety of settings allow you to fine-tune your gameplay experience. Choose between Realistic, Classic, or Custom gameplay styles, and adjust difficulty settings to tailor your Career Mode experience.
Playing with ICONs
Step into the shoes of football legends, playing as ICONs at the peak of their abilities, with the lineup of available ICONs changing throughout the season.
Origin Stories
Start your career with one of three new backstories, each offering unique challenges: a child prodigy, an underdog with big dreams, or a player making a comeback from a career-threatening injury.
Women’s Football in Player Career
Just like in Manager Career, you can now start a Player Career in women’s football, complete with authentic contracts, salaries, and career events.
Additional Features
The FC 25 UI has been revamped with a Task List to help manage your career more efficiently. A new Social Media feature keeps you updated on your achievements, match results, and transfer news, with posts from virtual clubs, fans, and real-world sports media figures.
