Power your Ultimate Team with real-world performances during Fantasy FC 25. Each special Player Item is eligible for upgrades based on both team and individual achievements on the pitch during select matches in their domestic run-in. Every detail counts—from starts and clean sheets to goals and assists—boosting their rating each time they hit specific statistical milestones.
There will be two teams of Fantasy Player Items, including Fantasy Heroes that will be able to upgrade based on a former club’s results in real-world matches. All upgrades will be based on the four domestic league matches after they get released.
Fantasy FC 25 is available for two weeks. The first two teams (including Heroes) are available on February 21. The other two go out one week later.
Fantasy FC League
As the Ultimate Team experience evolves, a brand-new Live UT Friendly is being introduced: Fantasy FC League. Celebrating the spirit of intense competition—the heart of Ultimate Team—this limited-entry Friendly rewards only victories.
Rewards follow a league-style format, with valuable prizes earned every two wins. Staying true to Fantasy FC, users must build a squad within their OVR allowance.
A total of 36 entries are available, with the maximum reward unlocked at 30 wins. The first 12 entries will be available at launch on Sunday, February 23rd, followed by 12 more on February 27th and March 3rd.
Three exclusive Player Rewards will be available:
10 wins – Fantasy FC Ismaël Bennacer
20 wins – Road to the Final Martin Ødegaard
30 wins – Fantasy FC Hero Maicon
These player items will be exclusive to the Fantasy FC League.
Additionally, the Fantasy FC Cup returns! Featuring the same OVR allowance requirements, users will need to build a unique squad to compete. The Fantasy FC Cup will refresh twice during the campaign, each time bringing new entry requirements, a House Rules game mode, and an Objectives group.

How does the upgrade mechanic work?
– Team wins 2 games in next 4 league matches = Player will receive +1 OVR Upgrade and one new Role++.
– Team scores 10 goals in next 4 league matches= One face attribute will be boosted to 99.
– (GKs, Defenders & CDMs only) Player achieves 1 Clean Sheet in next 4 league matches (Excl. Heroes) = Player will receive a second PlayStyle+ and one regular PlayStyle. If the player already has 2 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive two base PlayStyles.
– (Attackers and Midfielders only excl. CDMs) Player achieves 1 Goal or Assist in next 4 league matches (Excl. Heroes) = Player will receive a second PlayStyle+ and one base PlayStyle. If the player already has 2 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive two base PlayStyles.
– Player receives 0 yellow or red cards in next 4 league matches. (Excl. Heroes) = Player will receive +1 OVR and either Skill Move or Weak Foot boosted to 5*.
– Seasonal Upgrade: Player’s team wins primary domestic cup = Player will receive a third PlayStyle+ and one face attribute will be boosted to 99. If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive one base PlayStyle.
– Seasonal Upgrade: Player’s team wins domestic league = Player will receive a +1 OVR and a third PlayStyle++. If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive one base PlayStyle.
Which cups count as the primary domestic cups?

Which games count as part of the upgrades?
Domestic League games only will count towards all non-seasonal upgrades. Cup games will only count towards the ‘Player wins the main domestic cup’ seasonal upgrade.
What if my player already has 5* Weak Foot and 5* Skill Moves?
The player will receive a +1 OVR upgrade only.
When does player tracking begin from?
Player tracking begins from the date the player is made available in Football Ultimate Team. For example, if a player is made available on February 26th and their team plays on the same day, that game will count as the first game.
What counts as a Clean Sheet?
The Clean Sheet upgrade is awarded to Goalkeepers, Defenders and CDMs. The player will receive this upgrade if the team concedes 0 goals and the player has played for at least 60 minutes. If the player is subbed off after 60 minutes whilst a clean sheet is intact, they will receive the upgrade even if the team concedes after the player has been subbed off. If the player is sent off after 60 minutes and the team then concedes, they will not receive the clean sheet.
Does my player have to play to achieve the ‘No Yellow or Red Cards’ upgrade?
No – If the player doesn’t play within those four games or receive any yellow or red cards, they will receive the upgrade.
Does my player have to play to achieve the Team Wins or Team Goals upgrade?
No – the player’s participation is not relevant in achieving this upgrade.
What is the source of truth for goals and assists?
Only goals and assists officially awarded by Opta will count towards the upgrades.
