FIFA Manager 14 Will Be the Last FIFA Manager Game
It seems that Sega’s Football Manager has won the battle against FIFA Manager. EA Sports has cancelled the plans to release a new FIFA Manager. The most recent entry in the series, FIFA Manager 14, was published by EA Sports on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 in late October 2013.
Check the open letter from FIFA Manager founder and designer Gerald KĂśhler:
“Dear Football Fans,
Today Iâm writing to tell you that FIFA MANAGER 14 will be the last instalment of the football simulation series marketed by EA SPORTS. This is was a very tough decision, so I want to take the time to explain it.This probably comes as a big disappointment to many of you, and it is understandable that you would ask why.
The football manager genre at this level of sophistication is highly specialised and primarily played in two countries (England and Germany), in which â on top of everything â one game has practically dominated the market in recent years. The niche market and general trend toward online and mobile games were also contributing factors. Moreover, FM had reached a crossroads at which a new engine and/or corresponding online technology would be the only way to give the series a boost. When all these factors were evaluated, it led us to the decision to blow the final whistle.
All of us, the team at Bright Future and our colleagues at EA SPORTS, loved and still love FIFA MANAGER. Itâs a game that has captivated many fans over the years, and been our pride and joy since its first instalment FIFA MANAGER 2002 (with Rudi Assauer on the cover). Weâve had LĂśw and Mourinho on the cover, Felix Magath twice, and many other German and international stars who have lent their expertise to the game. We were also lucky to have a very dedicated community. Your passion and commitment to FIFA MANAGER is unrivalled, and made the series a great joy to work on.
You have our heartfelt gratitude. We hope youâll keep playing FM as long as possible, and that the fan sites will go all out to expand and improve the game wherever they can. For all your years of support and all your passion for our game, we thank you.

This is very sad. I love Fifa Manager from EA sports series. I am one of those who buy them every season. This is the only game that i love playing when i am stress at work or one some time alone.
I know alot of my friend in Asia do love playing this

how is the football manager better like fifa manager ? never football manager is the most boring game ever i dont like him plz continue i have played thousands of hours in this game is my life you dont need to change engine is very good is fast and entertaining i like audio player, club facilites , how you make a contract , the talent of players everthing …. i you dont make profit make double price i buy it whathever is costing (sorry for bad english)
Is FM is better than Fifa manager? How could it be? It is non-sense. I love Fifa manager series and enjoy several hours playing these. A new version was hoped every season during last 7 years. It is to be sad if it is true.

please bring back fifa manager i love the game so much the graphics, the sound track everything please i am critisizing football manager it ok but i guess every one has different taste when it come to individual needs but i love fifa manager and will be over joyed if it is restored back again

All the aspects of Fifa Manager: merchandise, stadium, youth camps abroad, personal life makes it a way better game over Football Manager. Tried 2015, 2016 en 2017. It still sucks.

I tried playing FM…. you can not compare FM to FIFA Manager. it´s like you try to compare a ittle ant with a building…. it´s ridiculos. FIFA Manager was better than FM and after 5 years it still is, despite that FM release every year another season. Poor desicion. I hope FM will join FIFA Manager very soon on the forgoten shelf coz if FIFA Manager doesn´t realease another version, than FM 100% doesn´t deserve to release.
