In this article we will suggest the best midfielders for FIFA 17 Career Mode that you should be able to use in your club. Keep in mind that the best players for us may not be for you. It depends of your club, other players, formation, transfer budget, wages budget, play style, preferences, etc…
To select the best players, we have mainly into consideration their stats, potential and age. That’s why a few old players are not in this list. Someone who will not be playing for more than two seasons in our club is not such a good buy as someone who will play for five or six seasons.

Yes Pogba maybe two years younger, but beside strength and heading, i just can’t see what other aspects he’s better than KDB. As for James he’s a typical one footer, never seems to score with his right leg whenever i use Madrid, no stamina nor strength. So how and why are they better rated than De Bruyne ?
Also Otamendi not in your top ten central defenders? He looks a real beast.

Since we are talking about Career Mode, age is one of the most important aspects we analyse. That’s why players like Otamendi can be left out of our first choices. Besides that, he will not grow up much more.
Regarding De Bruyne, we believe that the other two are slightly better than him if you plan to play several seasons. You can’t compare them in the first season. You have to do it after a few ones. If you do, you will see that Pogba, for example, is much better than him.

I play 4 3 3 but the 3 up front is left attacking midfield and a right attacking midfielder. I thought it was a good idea to have at least two players for each position, so they are 100% fit. Even then with playing in all competitions, at end season I’ve had play some players 95% maybe I make them run round to much lol
