You can’t. It is the estimated rating. It may be higher or lower.
How do u estimate a player’s potential?
If you start a new career ten times and always buy that player, giving him good conditions to grow up, it is the average higher overall he will get.
When u say tt a player grows 2-3 rating a season for gd youngsters,is it when u loan them or u play them every match?also hv u ever come across a player tt grew 10+ rating in a season?if u hv wats his name?
If you use him a lot on your team it will be easier.

Phil Jones gets the natural leader trait. And he becomes the almost perfectly balanced cb. His injuries are vengeful tho.
