EA already picked the best players of the week. The players names were unveiled this Wednesday at 3pm UK.
A 69th minute assist and a strong defensive performance helped Kieran Gibbs earn Man of the Match honours in Arsenal’s 1-2 win over Queens Park Rangers last Wednesday. Arsenal currently sit in third place, one point ahead of Manchester United and four points behind Manchester City.
In Ligue 1, it is an extremely close race between leaders Lyon and reigning champions PSG, with a single point separating the two. On Saturday, PSG easily took care of RC Lens 4-1 with David Luiz opening the scoring in the 43th minute.
On Sunday, FC Barcelona moved into first place of La Liga following their 6-1 crushing of Rayo Vallecano. Luis Suárez book-ended the scoring for his side, opening the floodgates in the fifth minute then adding another one minute into stoppage time. This weekend, FCB travel to Eibar before hosting the next encounter of El Clásico a week later.
