A master of creating space and fighting for position, Eden Hazard shows what you can do with the Physical Play Overhaul in FIFA 17. Control is now in your hands as you battle for space and possession.
FIFA 17 Physical Play Overhaul
EA have overhauled physical play in FIFA 17 to transform the way players physically interact all over the pitch.
Eden Hazard gave an insight into how he uses his body and strength to gain a physical advantage during matches: “I like to play with contact and I try to use my body. I always try to keep the ball at my feet”.
At the center of the overhaul is Pushback Tech, which is a US Patent pending technology EA have built to heighten the realism of player physics.
You now have the ability to trigger the physical play button in any situation, meaning you decide when to engage in a battle for the ball and space, or when to shield in any direction. Player interactions come to life in realistic detail across the entire pitch, like goalkeeper collisions, across-body tackles, 50/50 battles, jostling while ball is in the air and ball control while shielding. Pushback Tech innovates in trapping, dribbling, physics and defending to create true-to-life battles for position and the ball. New, ‘first touch shielding’ means players now understand where the biggest defensive threat is,so when a pass is played, the recipient can identify a defender in close proximity to shield out and receive the ball in a protected position.
